Centennial Real Estate Trends in Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Roswell

Our recent blog post on July 19th talked about the Roswell, Alpharetta and Johns Creek housing market slowing down. We have been highlighting this trend since the Spring in numerous blogs and newsletters: Summer Trends blog, Centennial Homes Newsletter, and Spring 2018 Review.

Shortly after our last blog post, news sources including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg published articles about the current slowdown. “The U.S. Housing Market Looks Headed for Its Worst Slowdown in Years.”

Locally, it looks like the current data is showing inventory levels coming in as expected due to the month end closings, but the number of units or homes sold will be down in our local market for July and has been trending this direction since 2017.

Congrats Don and Ann Boriskie in Chartwell. 355 Guildhall Grove – JUST SOLD!

The good news is… homes that are priced right and properly prepared to list are selling! Three of our listings closed this week and our local economics remain favorable.

At Robin Martin & Associates, we specialize in helping our clients that are committed to getting their homes SOLD, by providing the contacts, ideas from colors to materials, and a game plan to make sure that a new listing stands out above the rest. Pest inspections, home inspections, and having our pre-listing team execute a comprehensive plan are just a few of the reasons our listings, on average, have sold higher and faster in the local Centennial market since 2015!
