At Robin Martin & Associates, we’re proud of the incredible team we’ve built, and today we’re excited to highlight one of our outstanding team members — Kim Maloney. Kim joined the Robin Martin & Associates Team in December of 2021 and her primary role includes working with buyers, in addition to listing properties as well, and she is a vital part of ensuring our clients receive the service, attention, and expertise they deserve when buying or selling a home.
We recently asked Kim to share more about her journey and what drives her passion for real estate.

Why did you become a REALTOR?
It was time for a new chapter. When I moved to Georgia over 20 years ago, I began my career in advertising. Later, I stepped away from the workforce to focus on raising my children. As they grew more independent, I felt ready to return to work—but I knew I wanted something meaningful, flexible, and aligned with my passions.
Real estate was a natural fit. I’ve always had a love for home design, and I’m driven by the desire to help others. Being a REALTOR allows me to combine those interests while guiding people through one of life’s biggest decisions—finding a place to call home.
Why do you like being a REALTOR?
No two days are ever the same. I get to meet new people, explore a variety of properties, and tackle fresh challenges daily. It keeps me on my toes—and it’s never boring!
What is your secret to success (what makes you different)?
For me, real estate is personal. I don’t just help people buy or sell houses—I treat every client like family. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, stress-free, and even fun. Whether it’s your first home or your forever home, I’m here to guide you every step of the way with honesty, heart, and a little humor when it’s needed most.
What are the challenges that you face?
Being a REALTOR® means juggling a lot—especially when you’re also balancing kids’ activities, school schedules, and family life. Time management is key, and every day requires flexibility and creative problem-solving. But that’s part of what I love about this career—it keeps me thinking, adapting, and finding ways to show up fully for both my clients and my family.
What is your best success story for a client?
I don’t have just one standout success story—because every win matters. But when it comes to multiple-offer situations, I’ve found that building strong relationships with the other agent can make all the difference. A solid rapport can help my clients’ offers stand out, even when we’re up against tough competition.
