Our problem began about three years back when we gave another party permission to take down trees in our backyard. We did not realize at the time that these trees provided valuable shade from the Sun in the Summer.

Our 1980’s ranch was poorly insulated in certain sections of the home. After our shade trees were removed our den was unable to cool below 81-83 degrees during the hottest portions of the day. After our AC Unit went out we thought a new unit would solve our problems.

Arbor Insulation Solutions came out and recommended a Spray Foam Insulation that would seal our roof and attic space and improve our energy costs. More importantly it would enable our den and the rest of the house to properly cool.

The process was extensive. Sections of our ceiling were removed so technicians could install the product. Then a separate crew had to put the ceiling back together.

The end result was was $10,000 to remove the existing insulation and instal a new spray foam insulation product for roughly 3,800 square feet. We also encountered additional cost to demo and install 2 interior ceilings. We expect the payback to take 8-10 years, which is likely twice as long as the typical job.

We look forward to enjoying our home in a more comfortable environment and feel Arbor Insulation Solutions delivered a first class service. Arbor Insulation Solutions was willing to resolve all the minor inconveniences that popped up and the owner came out after the job was done to personally inspect the work and thank us.
