Common Questions Our Clients Are Asking Us…
Are homes selling?
You can see in the chart below that in the North Atlanta market, which covers Roswell, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek, that last week our local market had 28 closings, which is close to the average. The average is based on February 1 to current and we will be updating this chart every week as we move forward.
Is there activity and should I list now?
We personally have a number of listings coming up over the next few weeks! Because the current number of homes that are selling is a bit of a lagging indicator, we are keeping a close eye on homes that are going Under Contract based on the reported Binding Date of a contract.
You can see from the chart above that not only was last week strong for homes that went Under Contract but the trend line is up. Our local market saw 39 closings, which is the strongest week we have seen so far over the period we are tracking.
From our perspective, the housing market is still open for business! We are seeing buyers shopping, our listings going Under Contract, banks lending, and attorneys still handling closings.
We look forward to keeping you up to date on the latest trends we are seeing. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
