Active listings in our local market which covers the Centennial HS district in Roswell, Alpharetta and Johns Creek continue to trend down with 181 listings in April, lower than last year and down from 274 in 2014. Lower inventory in our local market and an extended period of low interest rates seems to be key factors in fueling appreciation of home values in our community. It helps that we have a number of wonderful lifestyle qualities to offer as well ~ parks, shopping, schools, location and a welcoming community environment.

46 homes sold in April in our local market, which covers Johns Creek, Alpharetta and Roswell for Centennial HS, compared to 85 last year. Looking back at the data we can see that the multi-year trend peaked in 2015 since the 2008 housing correction. We will be paying close attention to the number of transactions during the busy season and keep you posted on future updates.

Good news on selling prices as our Local Market continues to improve! Average price in April was $376,625 compared to $360,476 last year and we have seen a nice steady improvement in our local market.
