Johns Creek is an affluent area of North Atlanta and is located in Fulton County. Ranked the 13th highest-earning city in the United States, Johns Creek has become a top destination for those relocating to Metro Atlanta. Johns Creek continues to expand its roughly 80,000 residents and is the 10th largest city in Georgia. The history behind Johns Creek goes back to the early 19th century and was known in the region as a trading post along the Chattahoochee River.

The addition of Technology Park in 1981 of roughly 1,700 acres along McGinnis Ferry Road and Medlock Bridge was the beginning of a master planned community that ultimately spurred over 200 companies, many of them Fortune 500, to call Johns Creek home.

Newtown Park is one of the many public offerings which includes a 2 mile trail around the park, athletic fields, basketball courts, dog park, amphitheater and multiple team sport programs for all ages.
