For the third week of January, the Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, and Roswell housing markets saw less discounting for Active listings and homes Sold. The highest sale was on Birmingham Highway in Alpharetta. This 7.4-acre property sold for $1,378,000 and had been on the market for 130 days.

 

The 30 Year Fixed Mortgage Rate ended last week at 6.15%, as posted on Mortgage News Daily. This is a further decline from the prior week and significantly down from the 7% high we saw in November of 2022! While existing home sales fell for an 11th straight month in December nationally, pricing has yet to make a material drop and our local market still is seeing strong price action for high-demand locations and quality.
